TESS Thinset Exterior Surfacing System is a new class of architectural finish: It is the only flexible cement finishing
system designed to outperform synthetic stuccos in green building, durability,
workability, storage and handling.
One product, two markets
The same cement TESS Finish used for one-coat stucco is so flexible, water-,
dirt- and crack-resistant, and offered in so many colors, textures and styles
that it is ideal for any EIFS installation.
TESS Finish is available in 48 pre-tinted colors from the factory, or in a base
color for custom mixing with pigment dispersions. Popular textures include
sand, coarse sand, freeform and limestone.
Built-in savings
One 44 lb. bag of TESS Finish, mixed with water on site, can cover up to 30%
more area than a typical 70 lb. pail of acrylic stucco finish—at about the same cost.
TESS Finish is packaged as a dry powder in lightweight paper sacks that cost
about half of what it costs to ship pails of liquid synthetic stucco.
And TESS Finish can be stored in a smaller unheated environment to reduce
storage and energy costs.

Performance-enhancing features such as dirt pick-up resistance, integrated
silicone and a long-lasting antimicrobial are all standard in TESS Finish,
delivering a premium finish without the extra costs typical of synthetic
stucco.
Green is good for your business
When your customers want a green alternative to petroleum-derived acrylic
finishes, TESS wall claddings offer a low maintenance, high-performance
solution for their EIFS or stucco projects.
TESS Finish and Primer exceed the strictest air quality requirements because
they emit ZERO VOCs. They are more durable, more resistant to UV degradation,
and protect against mold, mildew and algae for more than 10 years with
Duracide, a non-toxic antimicrobial agent. Superior dirt pick-up resistance
reduces maintenance needs even more. And TESS's paper packaging is more easily
disposable and significantly less harmful to the environment than plastic
pails.
TESS Finish provides builders, architects, and contractors with a greener,
higher-performance alternative to acrylic stucco finishes. Altogether, TESS
cladding adds significant value while reducing costs of distibution,
construction and maintenance.
